We love a good bathroom renovation, and this project was a perfect example of how the right design can transform a space! Our clients had a large but outdated ensuite that wasn’t meeting their needs. They envisioned a brighter, more contemporary space that felt like a luxurious retreat. Their must-haves? A walk-in shower, a freestanding bath with sleek black taps, and twin vanity units. The Before: Why This Bathroom Needed Renovation
While the ensuite was generously sized, it felt cramped and uninspired. The layout didn’t maximise space, and the outdated colour scheme made it feel darker than it should. With bulky fixtures, a separate shower enclosure, and limited flow, it functioned—but it wasn’t the relaxing oasis our clients dreamed of.

The Bathroom Renovation Plan
Our goal was to completely transform the space, making it feel brighter, more open, and far more functional. We focused on natural materials, a calming colour palette, and smart space optimisation to create a modern and inviting bathroom.
Key Design Features:
Maximising Light & Space: We used large-format tiles in a soft, neutral shade with a subtle wood effect to reflect light and create an open, airy feel. Strategically placed LED lighting helped eliminate dark corners and enhance the ambiance.
Warm & Inviting Touches: To balance the crisp white elements, we introduced natural wood finishes on the vanity units, adding warmth and texture without making the space feel clinical.
Optimised Layout: Removing the bulky shower enclosure and replacing it with a sleek walk-in shower dramatically improved the flow and functionality of the room.
Freestanding Bath Focal Point: A stunning stone freestanding bath was placed under the window, making it the showstopper of the room. The matte black taps created a bold contrast, adding a touch of modern elegance.
Twin Vanity Units: These were a must-have for our clients, offering ample storage while maintaining a stylish, contemporary look. Their placement was carefully considered to ensure they didn’t overwhelm the space.
